Be A PACC Foster

If you would like to open your home to a foster dog or cat then please let us know!

Here are the foster requirements for PACC:

You must apply to become an approved PACC foster home - submit an adoption application but put foster home as "pet you are interested in adopting"

All current household pets must be up to date on vaccines and spayed/neutered

The foster pet must be kept indoors

PACC will cover all basic medical costs such as spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, and heartworm test; you will need to transport the animal to and from the mobile clinic for the appointment scheduled by a PACC representative.  You are responsible for providing food, toys, and a safe environment.  We will provide food if we get donations and have some to spare:)

You are responsible for transporting the foster to and from adoption events.  You are not obligated to attend adoption events but please keep in mind that the events give the animals the best chance at meeting potential adopters!

The foster animal can only be adopted to a PACC approved adoptive home with the proper adoption donation paid at time of adoption.  Our adoption process is explained on our website.

Fostering is a great way to help animals in need.  However, if you decide to foster please be aware that we cannot guarantee how long it will take to find a forever home for the foster.  Thank you for your interest in fostering for PACC.
